Paper Billing Fee

Aroostook Internet has an additional surcharge of $1 to your Internet bill on a monthly basis if you wish to receive a paper statement.  This surcharge is intended to help cover rising costs of paper and postage.

The Paper Billing Fee can be avoided in one of two ways.  You can choose to have Aroostook Internet automatically deduct your monthly payment for Internet service from your credit or debit card.  Unfortunately at this time we cannot deduct directly from a checking or savings account or check by phone.  If you choose this option, your bill will be automatically paid each month and a paper statement will not be generated, therefore you are not subject to the paper billing fee.  If you wish to setup this method of payment and avoid the Paper Billing Fee, please call the Billing Department at 1-207-769-2691 or 1-800-752-4330.

Another way to avoid the Paper Billing Fee is to pay your montly Internet bill one month in advance.  If your account balance is zero on the day that the Billing Department processes statements, our system will not generate a statement for your account, therefore the Paper Billing Fee will not be added to your account.
