Tractor Pulls in 1998!"
"Woodstock, New Brunswick
(CANADA)!"
Trying my luck, Getting hooked to the sled!
We live on the New Brunswick border, so we attend Canadian pulls also.
"Starting My Pull!"
So far, so good! It's a good pull if nothing breaks.
Like they say, don't count your chickens till everyone has pulled.
"Good Pull?"
She went a long way, but just not good enough! Not in the money at least.
Notice my son watching his mom rather than me!
"Centerville, New Brunswick
(Canada)!"
Getting her ready. I have a little helper today.
Notice the grey and foggy day. We pull in most any weather.
"Ready to show what this thing will do!"
Just finished cutting the tires for pulling.
I was sure this would outpull some of the other junkers there.
"Good Hook?"
She hooded up great, came out like a trooper.
But I was about to loose it all.
"High and Dry!"
Just as I got to the 100 foot marker, the front made a bee line for the sky. Theres nothing
to do except hope for a few more feet. I miscalculated the weight on the front.
"Houlton, Maine!"
Had a great pull at Houlton. Pulled 265 ft, and took 2nd place.
"Slow Tractor Race!"
Ever see a slow Tractor race? The slowest wins. It's simple, Idle in your lowest gear,
and just go the 300 ft as slow as possible. You must have a good running tractor.
If you like old tractors, are interested in this kind of family fun,
or are restoring a tractor and need parts and information,
or you know where I may buy a junk farm tractor in
Northern New England or New Brunswick, Canada
